Appliance Installation, Gas Piping Changes or Movement of a Propane Container
Any appliance installed, gas piping altered, added, replaced in the gas system or movement of a propane container must be performed by a
qualified person. These tasks must meet the codes required by the state, county or local authority having jurisdiction.
Appliance Removal or Gas Line Abandonment
Any appliance removed, taken out of service or gas piping abandoned must have all gas sources properly capped, plugged and purged of combustible
gas. Only a qualified person should perform this duty. The removal or abandonment or any gas appliance or gas piping must meet the codes required by the state, county or local authority having jurisdiction.
Call your Lakes Gas Co. dealer to see that any change, for any reason, in your gas system is properly performed.
