You will need to complete an application prior to any installation or service. Application is subject to credit approval. We offer:
Tank Lease with high pressure regulator and tank pads: No cost to you with annual minimum usage met. If you will be leasing from us for your new service, you will need to sign the Tank/Equipment Agreement.Tank Placement (set in permanent location).

Gas Check: A documented pressure, leak and flow test performed on the gas system, done at the time of the tank set.
Automatically Dispatched Deliveries: Your consumption is tracked with the use of heating degree-days. With the use of the degree-day information and our computer system, deliveries are then scheduled without delay.
Pre-Buy Program
The Pre-Buy Program is offered annually from May 1 until the end of October.
This program offers our customers the opportunity to purchase their propane
for the upcoming heating season by paying 100% at the time of the signing
of the contract. An Installment Pre-Buy option is also available for a
few cents more per gallon. Installment Pre-Buys require a 50% down payment
at the signing of the contract and then two equal payments 30 and 60 days
after signing the contract. Contact your Customer Service Representative
to monitor the pricing, then when you are ready to order your contract,
contact the office and it will be mailed to you. Contracts, along with
payment, must be received at the branch office within 10 days.
Budget Program
The Budget Program starts May 1 of each year and offers customers equal
monthly payments that you can work into your household budget as opposed
to a large unplanned invoice. Deliveries made to Budget Program customers
will be automatically billed at the cash price and guaranteed not to exceed
the capped price established for the contract period.

Q. What is the difference between the Budget Program and the Pre -Buy Program?A. On the Budget Program you make monthly payments and the cost per gallon of your propane can fluctuate, up or down with the market but is guaranteed not to exceed the capped price. With the Pre-Buy Program you pay for your needed gallons up front and all deliveries are made at the pre-buy price until your contract has been fulfilled or expires.
Q. Will I save more money annually on the Pre-Buy or Budget Program?
A: Historically, customers save more money annually on the Pre-Buy Program. The pre-buy gallons are purchased at a fixed rate per gallon while budget customers price per gallon can go up and down with the market but does have a capped price.
Q. Why am I getting a delivery after my pre-buy gallons are used up?
A: If you have selected Automatic Delivery for your delivery type, you will continue to receive deliveries as our system shows you need them. You will be billed the market price per gallon at the time of the delivery. Customers must contact their Lakes Gas office to make any changes to their delivery type.
Q. When is the best time to purchase my propane?
A: Our pre-buy program is open from May 1st until the end of October for our customers to purchase their propane for the upcoming year. Our largest pre-buy sales typically occur in July through August time frame.
Q; How do I know how many gallons I will need for the upcoming year?
A: We will help you calculate the number of gallons from the time of your purchase until the end of the heating season, March 31, based on your accounts previous annual usages.
